Purchased this for my 2 year old son who has recently fell in love with Daniel Tiger. We have a daytime Daniel Tiger, so I felt it would be nice to have a nighttime Daniel Tiger as well. This cuddly little plush is just the perfect size, and is soft all over EXCEPT for little Tigee. He is a hard blue plastic that lights up quite brightly. My son loves him, but has bonked himself in the head a few times when playing with the toy. No big deal, no injuries, and he's learned that this Daniel Tiger isn't for throwing or jumping on. The light up feature is good and bad. It is fun for the child to have Tigee light up so brightly, but at night, it is so bright that it lights up the surrounding area. Not something you necessarily want to happen when your child is sleeping, or trying to get to sleep.
All in all, it is a great little stuffed animal, and my son loves him. Just be aware of the super lightup feature, and the fact that Tigee is a solid, hard plastic.

Oh Daniel you get 5 stars you are def my favorite cartoon character and you would certainly make Mr. Rogers proud. He does everything he is supposed to and when the goodnight song is sand it will make you wanna lay down with your child and go to sleep. Kudos for a great show with characters that have high morals and teach kids to be respectful, kind and generous. I know a few adults who could take a lesson from Daniel Tiger. My grandkids love him. My son is a huge Daniel tiger fan and loves this toy. He's had it for about 4 months now and has loved it since day one. He's a year now and always has this toy with him. It has great phrases and a short lullaby when the hand is pressed and tigey lights up in blue and my son loves that. Same phrases from the show. The battery life is amazing and the toy has held up in great condition. Well worth the price. Must have for any Daniel tiger fan, you won't be disappointed.

2 year old daughter loves Daniel Tiger and loves, loves, loves this toy. I'm pretty sure that she is going to wear the music out and that I'm going to have to buy another because she has been playing with it non-stop. As some others mentioned, we found the music and talking to be way too loud, but a couple pieces of masking tape over the speaker did the trick.
The only con for this toy is that I wish that it was made similarly to the Fisher Price seahorse/giraffe, where you are able to remove the light/sound piece from inside in order to wash the entire toy. A bedtime toy is going to need frequent washing. But, great idea for a toy.
