It works, but don't over do it. Just a few seconds is what is necessary.
it is perfect for a wine lover

it is perfect for a wine lover! He can adjust the wine according the state the wine has at the moment. The Instruction is not very useful, from experienced I use now 3 seconds for one year, and I can use this now most of the time. Even very good wines you still can improve with this Clef du vin!
Do you believe in magic?

Pricy little toy to con yourself into thinking that it will make your immature reds age 6 years. It won't. It does not make my older wines taste discernibly different either. Perhaps eventually I will get a bottle for which this thingy actually improves the wine.
Adds a nice, oak flavoring

Wow...this thing really works. Don't leave it in your wine too long. Gives white wines much more of an oakey flavor. I bought a couple extra because my wife takes it with us wherever we go and I wanted one at home.
A Surprisingly Useable Device.

This simple device really does work. Now, I was as skeptical as anyone else, but on the very first use, was totally surprised. . Being Scottish, and conscious of my expenditures, I am naturally drawn to wines which are, uh, "affordable". I particularly am fond of Malbecs, which, while in their entirety, are not enormously expensive, certainly can fall above my self-imposed median price limit. That said, this device, properly and adequately applied to a glass of, say, my typical "affordable", will yield a wine without the edge and the bite which the typical example of such a wine may have, and will afford the wine lover a most pleasant experience.. The instructions suggest that, for each second the device is dipped into the wine, a year of aging ensues. Well, I strongly suggest that the new user boldly experiment with various timings for its immersion. Frankly, some wines in the "Uber-Affordable" range, say, under $10.00, will respond positively to up to 30 seconds of steeping. The edge will be gone, and the affordable glass will have left only the essence with which The Almighty endowed the grape, to begin with. I have three of these devices, and would not be without one. Your mileage may vary, as they say on the Web, but I doubt it. Would I buy it again? I have. Would I recommend it to a friend? Without hesitation.
