I have a heart condition (afib) and doctor does not want me to use any over the counter cold meds. He told me to find these horehound drops and use for my cough. I keep some in my purse, now.

My 72 yr. old Mom couldn't find horehound candy anywhere. Even her usual place, C****** B*****, wasn't going to sell it anymore, so I ordered this stuff. We happened to go out to eat there, and found a bag of horehound of a different brand. She says that she likes this brand better. This is stronger than any other horehound she's tried. I like the taste of it myself. Plus, she swears that it's good for a cough, so she carries a bag of it in her purse.

Candy just doesn't taste as good as it used to before they used cheaper processed ingredients. This is no exception. I remember that horehound candy used to have a blend of bitter and sweet but this is more like eating gasoline. 3 stars because I know that no candy from the past tastes as good as it used to.

This is a true classic made in the USA stamp on the front 6-ounce standard and you can truly taste the Horehound herb on the backside of the product it sells the story of horehound herb and claeys candies and it's just a step back in time I love this product and I'll definitely be ordering some more thank you Amazon for your fast delivery and you bringing back good memories for me

These are very mild in taste. Too mild I think, with very little taste of horehound.
