A huge amount for a small price.
SJ and SFNovember 1, 2017
The tiny little brick expanded into a huge amount of coco coir. Most of it molded within three days; make sure and freeze any portions that you don't intend to use immediately. I tried to moisten only a small amount, but it wasn't really working -- be prepared to handle a few gallons of coir at once.
good quality, small amount...

great quality, but i'd say check size and what it should break out to...one brick wasn't very much. For me, ended up filling a 3 gallon smart pot about halfway......?
So far, so good

I planted my desert rose with this. So far it seems to be doing well. There is some critter around here that likes to dig in it- possibly loving the coconut.
Great alternative to peat......but not good on the re-order.

Great alternative to peat. I used this to for my seedlings and it worked great. I love that it is compressed into a small brick and then becomes a bucket full of potting medium.

***UPDATE***
I bought a second brick of this product and the difference is ridiculous. The brick has been soaking in water for 24 hours and has barely grown. I have been breaking it up with my hands but I'm still left with a soupy mess. The first time I bought this the coir was a light fluffy medium. I think they need some major quality control. I really wish I could send it back but not sure how you send back coconut fiber soup.
Be careful how much you use, because itll be more than expected. Great material

I received this Saturday, which was quite fast. But on to the product. It came in a small brick, much smaller than I expected, However, when following the directions, I broke off a piece and omg.. I ended up with too much of it lol So measure carefully. The medium appears to be a good mix and if it grows the seeds I have with it, I'll post a followup, but I really think it's not necessary because this is exactly as described. Thanks for a great product.
