Disgusting. Not just rancid but emitting an offensive effluvia the instant the bag was opened. Nor is a country of origin displayed. Why not? In which case I have to assume it's... North Korea. And "Expires 5/31/2018" when these nuts had decomposed already. Definitely worth spending a few bucks extra with Amazon and buying a different brand.

I definitely regret buying the 2lb bag. The walnuts were a really weird texture, almost like they were "stale", if it's even possible for nuts to become stale. They also have the coating/shell on them which I've never seen before in any other walnut pieces I've purchased. I recommend looking elsewhere.

I love eating them as a snack and using them in granola and baking needs. They almost make a delicious almond butter blended in a high power blender with honey. Additionally, they can be soaked in water to make almond milk in the blender. Delicious and great snack option. Good price for a really nice quantity of almonds. Buy a bag every few month
