This cost much less than one of the same HP from a local big-box store. It works well and is so powerful that if you pick it up when it is on, it wants to blow you over. I thought I would need 2-3 of them, but one unit ended up drying everything in a day.

Awesome product. I had 2 properties that flooded recently in Houston, with 2 feet of water inside. I ordered several different makes of fans to help in the drying out process. After ripping out the damaged sheetroock and flooring, I put these to work. By far, these fans did their job. They got the house dry again after a few days of constant running to the point where I can start renovations. Would highly recommend.

Love this 1 hp 3-speed blower. Much better than the 1/2 hp 2 -speed. While sleeping, my humidifier spilled over and drenched my carpet. The kind of wet that pools around your foot when you step in it. I blotted it with a towel and turned this baby on high speed at 7:30 am. By 4 pm it was completely dry. No moldy/wet carpet smells at all. Very impressive! As long as it holds up for 5-10 years I'll be a happy camper.
