Have been unable to attach my keys to the clips that came with the key case as they are too difficult to use. The engineering of the unusual clips in this beautiful leather key case is placed in question as far as the product received is concerned.

Growing up my father always had a key wallet similar to this. I saved his but it's over 25 years old and has seen better days. Seeing this this for sale brought back good memories of riding around with Dad so I bought one.

You obviously cannot put your car keys in this if you have a key fob. I used this for house keys. It's convenient to throw your ID, some money, and a credit card in if you're going out walking or to the beach.

The leather quality is very nice. It's soft and the stitching is well done. The key loops are cheaply made. A month or so after I got it the clips they came 'unlocked' on their own. After about a year one loop broke off completely. Once I seen the loops opening on their own I always worried about loosing a key. Once a loop broke off completely I retired it and went back to a regular old key chain.

Best keys hook out there. This is the second one I buy after the brown color I bought more than a year ago. never had a problem with the hardware, even as I remove and replace several keys as I need when I travel.

Lighter brown leather than pictured, but sure to darken with use. Seems well made, nice leather, solid metal parts, good stitching. Closed comfortably with my car smart-key. Better than many others I've looked at in stores--glad I can stop looking.

I've had it for almost 1 and 1/2 years now. It's great in that it is a combination wallet and key case, although I do keep a separate wallet. It's well-made and good looking, too. I did, however, have one key fall out due to flexing of the metal plate that holds the key clips. If the ends of the plate are bent away from you (easy to do), as you look at the open case, the slots where the key clips go can open wide enough for some clips to fall out. This plate-clip design is used in almost all key cases, but Visconti could have used beefier metals in the construction. This design element is more important than anything else. As others have said, you never want to lose a key!
