I have been using four different brands and this Molten is by far the nicest and lightest ball. It doesn't hurt when the ball lands on your arms. I LOVE it. Some players do prefer a more heavier ball which is odd to me but whatever. Everyone has different taste but this one is definitely the lightest one and my favorite.

I have played with essentially every premium beach volleyball including the official AVP and I find I like the overall feel to this volleyball the best. It is comparable to the AVP, just slightly more grip on the Molten, but similar. recommend this considering the price tag.

The ball is very soft to touch, which makes it less painful if you get hit hard by a spike.
It's a bit heavier tjan the Mikasa, but it weighs a bit more, which is wonderful if you have windy configurations...
It's also a bit smaller than the Mikasa - need to get used to it.
