High quality bookshelf, which fits perfectly on the top of my husband's double wide dresser. 4 stars instead of 5 because we had to drill out the holes in order to get the screws in. We had to use our vise table to do this - would be hard for someone without the right tools.
Good book rack - bad Allen wrench

Perfect to hold our cookbooks in the kitchen. I didn't have the problem that others have noted with the holes not aligning. However, the disposable Allen wrench that comes with this to assemble the unit quickly became stripped. The holes are slightly undersized, which results in a tight, snug fit once the screws are properly seated, but the supplied Allen wrench was not up to the task. I got out my good Allen wrench set and was able to assemble this in no time. We're happy with this, it does exactly what we wanted. Just use a good Allen wrench to assemble it.

Sturdy wood (not wood product) with smooth finish. Advice is to not use the Allen wrench that comes with it but use a screw driver with Allen bit so you can get the screws in straight and avoid splitting the wood. Pilot holes lined up nicely. I'm using mine for cookbooks and the rack is definitely built heavy enough for them. Would have given it a 5 except I would have liked screw covers/wooden buttons for the recessed screws for a more finished look.

Love this SHELF it fits on my 88 year old father dresser perfect.
He loves to read (has a lot of books) and its hard for him to reach bottom shelf of his book case.
This nicely made and simple shelf has helped us move his books up higher for less bending.
Less worrying about him falling too for me.
Looks Very Nice. Well made. Took Little Effort to put together.
The only thing is I wish they would have sent wood buttons to cover screw...but that's just me.
