I love HTC phones and this was no exception to start. But then all the problems that are in the forums, but not on the reviews here quickly became apparent. Poor connectivity and the broken camera focus that buzzes and just won't focus appear to be very common with this phone. Not being able to take pictures is bad enough, but think of all the apps that use the camera to scan and/or send documents. Big disappointment. Top that off with never hearing back from customer service when I asked what I should do and I'm surprised I went with 2 stars. Then again, the last part isn't on the phone so 2 is probably correct.

The item in excellent condition in sealed packaging , but I never got the NFC function to work okay, no problem. Then it was time for software upgrade this was unable to be done I contacted HTC Company directly and they informed me touch my device was originally a Verizon device and it was modified with a non Factory software operating system so it will not be able to upgrade. I have sent several emails to the seller and have gotten no response !. I don't want a refund all I wanted washe bootloader code that was used, HTC said they would Assist. I am tired waiting on a response because a lot of apps cannot run on 4.2 .
These things need to be stated on description.!

I would have given all five but the phone came with a bit disparity in alignment. The screen on the half top right does lap properly with the body of the phone kind of looks like it was opened or the screen replaced and not properly fitted. i have written to the seller and they assured me it was not a used phone but a new phone. aside this its working ok for now and i hope it stays that way

The phone I received has a lot of mechanical (I don't know if that is the right word, but while writing this review I cannot think of a better one) problems. The phone itself is fairly dinged up, especially around the edges, but that is to be expected with a used phone. If that was the only problem with the phone I would give it 5 stars, however it isn't. The biggest problem for me is that there is a touch delay of almost a full second between when you tap the screen and the corresponding action occurs - be it when typing on the keyboard, playing a game, etc. There are also several other random glitches that occur with the phone, such as it will randomly shut down or restart, or will freak out (flip across several different screens, open a bunch of random apps, etc.).

Also, I feel it is worth noting that I am very adept with using smartphones and troubleshooting. If there is a way to troubleshoot these problems, I have done so, without success in correcting the aforementioned problems.

I waited awhile before posting a review because of my previous experience with phones working fine for the first few days or weeks and then suddenly starts giving problems. BUT I've had my phone now for a few months and i haven't had any problems. The only downside to this phone i found was the fact that the battery cant be removed but so far i had no cause to remove it.
