I haven't used them all yet, but I did go through and look at the whole batch and found no flaws. The ones I have used so far were good quality.
I use a thin-plate hair straightener to seal them and that's working well. Nice thickness, not flimsy at all.

Very high quality bags. I use these for storing pipe tobacco. Moisture level is critical to the flavor and proper burning, so it's important that your storage container maintains that level of hydration. These bags are perfect for storing the contents of a standard 50g (1.75 oz) tin of tobacco. Left in the tin, the tobacco would dry out. In these, I've seen no loss of moisture and even when enclosed in a box or humidor, I cannot smell anything when opening the container, which indicates to me that the bags are basically impermeable. In addition, they're a much better way for me to organize my tobacco. I have over 40 varieties open. Without these bags, I'd have 40 small canning jars to deal with. I use the larger 8x8 bags for bulk purchases of tobacco. The zip closure is occasionally a little difficult to close, but is very secure once it's closed. So far, I haven't had any failures.
I'm including a photo of one of my trays of tobacco bags. It's PERFECT for storing tobacco in my small humidor locker at the cigar store. The tray in the photo is from Ikea.

Very nice bags that work perfectly for what I need, which is mixing multiple bags of a day's worth of herbs for my morning tea, so that all week I can just dump one into the French press in the morning, pour on the boiling water and leave it on a mug warming plate to steep while I prepare for work. They have held up very well for many uses.
