One reason I purchased this product because it was advertised as 'Amish', yet on the jars, there was no reference to the Amish. That was a big selling point for me, so I was disappointed when the label simply reads 'Mrs. Millers Homemade Jelly'.
Lids not sealed properly...?

I received these six jars of Mrs. Millers jam/jelly in the same package as five other jars of Mrs. Millers jam/jelly. While the big box didn't appear to have received any damage, the variety pack was contained in smaller box within and one jar was broken.
A broken jar of jelly is not a big deal. However, I noticed on four of the five intact jars in the variety pack that the safety button on the lid was in the "popped out" position, meaning that the vacuum seal was compromised. This can only be caused by a poor seal to begin with or if someone had opened the jar. As I cannot be sure when or how this happened it would be unwise to try the jelly, so I'm returning all six jars and I'll try to make a new order when this item is available for purchase again. I'm disappointed because I'm sure these jellies would have been yummy.
