Surprisingly Worked!!!
Craig D.✓ Verified Purchase•September 16, 2017
Surprisingly... this product worked wonders on my 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee!!! I've brought the car to a few places to try to get the headlights restored and had no success (Places actually told me they wouldn't charge me since the headlights didn't change). I got this product since it was very inexpensive and reviews said it works... but I doubted it... until i started rubbing the green square (sanding down) the lens and saw what happened. As others have said... it's not a "1 rub and 100% better" process. I rubbed, rinsed, reviewed, repeated about 3 times per headlight and then polished twice per headlight. Once I rubbed the final wipe on the headlights, they looked as good as new! There is a very strong (chemical / alcohol) smell coming off the pad, so ensure you are in a well ventilated area... but headlights looked almost new vs. hazy and yellow!
Works

It works, it really does. It took my 23 y/o lens and made them look almost new again. The only reason for 4 stars is the misleading ad description. "In just minutes" isn't exactly accurate. You have to wet sand the lens, all materials included, and if you have some age on the lens it's going to take more than a few minutes. I spent roughly an hour and a half on mine. Don't get me wrong the end results are well worth the elbow grease...
Works like a charm if you do the work

It took me about an hour of buffing, wetting, buffing some more, polishing, rewetting and polishing some more, then drying and rewetting, buffing and polishing a few more spots, but my headlights (which were pretty cloudy) look absolutely brand spankin' new! Highly recommended as long as you are willing to put in some time, elbow grease, and follow the instructions that come with the product. Definitely worth it!
Phenomenal Results!

I utilized my Wipe New on a new to me car I recently purchased. The car is beautiful and the only thing lacking were the clear and bright headlights. I took many other reviews and their photos into consideration prior to buying this product, and although some of them were mixed reviews and some of the photographs showed only slight improvements, I was impressed with the reviews and photos that showed excellent results. I was able to take some really great advice away as well.
Since I was actually more a bystander than the one doing any real labor, I found it to be incredible simple and didn't require any elbow grease at all! LOL. My husband and I did this in the garage with the garage door fully open. We followed the instructions, and my husband did put some elbow grease into the sanding as suggested in a helpful review. This helps erase years of scratches from sand and dirt. Living in Las Vegas, NV. We knew we should really follow that great advice of putting some muscle into it. Noting overly strenuous, and a little extra time consuming, but in the end well worth it.
When we got to the final step, wiping it new, the headlights looked brand spanking new. The end result is beautiful. This product really delivers!
The fumes are indeed very strong once you open the wipe. Do follow the safety instructions and do allow the headlights to dry for a little longer than the instructions tell you to. The reason for my four star rating rather than the five, is because after allowing to dry for the time the instructions stated, my husband touched on of the the headlights and it was slightly tacky. It left a slight fingerprint smudge that no one else would pay any attention to, but I know it is there and is the only flaw. In addition because if we hadn't have taken other reviews into consideration, I fear I may not have been as satisfied as we are. I really don't think the magic is in the wipe alone. The instructions don't tell you about the necessity of sanding with some strength, even though the company provides all of the tools for the outstanding outcome.
You probably will be as satisfied as we are with the product in the event that you decide to purchase this.
I remember some years ago we bought a similar product at at least twice the price. We followed the instructions and did not put any elbow grease at all into it. That is also what the end result was. Nothing, nothing at all. I really do not know for certain if the strength in the sanding would have made the difference. Frankly speaking..., I don't even remember sanding. But, I can tell you, I am thrilled with the phenomenal results the Wipe New provided. Especially at half the price.

Put Some Work into It and It'll Turn Out Great!

My Mazda3's headlights were oxidized and yellowed--badly in need of replacement or refurbishment. I thought that trying this was at least worth a try.
Firstly, it's not a miracle product that you simply wipe on for "like new" lenses. The instructions direct you to use the included sanding pad to removed the oxidation. There are two sides to the pad. One is very fine and one is super-dooper-extra-fine. Anyway, it's a decent amount of work. I spent about a half-hour per lense of scrubbing and sanding until I cleared the crud.
Even then, I wasn't sure how the product would work. After sanding, the lenses were cloudy, although they were clear of the gunk and no longer yellow. Anyway, the instant I applied the solution from the impregnated pad, the lenses became crystal clear. Pretty much, like new. It was pretty impressive.
So, bottom line--the stuff works, but you really need to take your time and put some effort into it and, of course, follow the instructions very carefully.
