I purchased five Mylar blankets at the big W store for $2.97 each! Then I found these. They are .46 cents each and you get 50 of them. There are five ziplock packages with 10 blankets in each package. I can either remove them from the ziplock and put in individual BOB's for hiking or vehicles for the winter. I am thinking of putting the full packages in the BOB's and then the BOB's will be stored in the car. They may be a smidgen thinner than the ones I had. I had to take them outside in the sunlight to compare them. It was NOT conclusive. I thought they may be thinner but someone else in my household said they were exactly alike. So, you be the judge. I really don't care even if they are a smidgen thinner,because really...none of the Mylar blankets are made to keep you warm for extended periods of time. They all will rip no matter how much you paid for them. I did take the ones I purchased at the big W store back. By paying right around $8 more, I got 45 more blankets. Not a bad deal.

Cant have enough if you have Illegal LLC HOLDINGS microwave gunner arrays in your neighborhoods have to hand them from ceiling down across center of rooms and fold them up to 1 foot thick 4 folds x 8 foot to protect pets along floors all the way around the house. floor is heated to 800 degrees 8am till 9am 4am to 5am and things 1 foot off ground are killed in Texas. since 1977 by the way pets are killed by these dirty men.

I order these quite often and give them away. Homeless people like them because they can stay warm in the winter, they are light weight, & are easy to carry with them. For myself, I sandwich one between two blankets on my bed. This keeps me warm without having to use an electric blanket. In the summer, I cut them in strips and tie them in the fruit trees. They reflect the sun making it hard for the birds to see so they don't eat so much of my fruit. And, yes, I so have some for emergencies also.

I purchased these to hand out to homeless people who come to a church where we provide lunches every Sunday. They will be great to have as the weather turns cold.

I bought 100 for our HOA disaster / emergency closet and they are perfect for that.
Small, light and very cheap (53 cents each) and plentiful.
Good for any situation where you run into hypothermia regularly.
Great for a home survival kit or grab it and run pack.
Great for tired runners and bikers at the end of a competition also.

I added a suffocation hazard warning to the plain brown box
because it is plastic sheeting we are dealing with.
