Great kit for next step up

We got the bwginner kit last year fpr pur then 6 year pld. Fast forward to this year and he was asking for a bigger kit for his birthday. We wanted something that could interchange his begonner pieces as well and went with this one. He loves it and spends so much time building things.

Love it, but the rotating colored fan is giving me headaches! It works sometimes, but sometimes the color won't turn on and one fan has already broken! I did get it replaced... but is is acting funny again!

My 11 year old daughter loves this. I added it to her game shelf and she stumbled upon it on her own one day and spent hours building things from the book and then creating her own things buy building on the things she had already learned. If she keeps up this interest we'll definitely be looking at more Snap Circuits sets!

Love love love!!! Bought this for my lil science nerd who turned 6 today! He LOVES it. Doesn't need much help at all following the instructions. The pictures showing how to add the peices on the bored are simple and easy to follow.
