work well. adapter stays in urinal securely. I tried it with the adapter both ways while standing. Don't know how well it works lying down. Got it for tent camping/ roadtripping. Haven't had to use it for either yet.

If you are disabled and trying to use in bed this is not easy to use. You need to be acrobat to maneuver this in position in order to use. Since these type of products can't be returned you sure do waste a lot of money.
