I purchased this small heater for my dining room and found it to be even more attractive than pictured. There is no need to assemble ANYTHING, just remove the packing and plug it in - standard 3-prong plug and cord, so no need to worry about blowing out fuses or tripping circuit breakers if your home's wiring is newer than 1960.
The heater is very powerful despite its small size and fairly quiet and the flame is realistic. Its portability is another plus as I can move it across the room as needed and then place it in a corner out of the way when not in use. The heater emits a warm radiant heat and is set back under the chassis of the unit so it is not easily seen, something that comes in handy when you want to place it in a room when entertaining. In all, I would recommend this unit for any room up to 20' x 20' and perhaps slightly larger. It really does the job.
