The color carts work fine, and luckily I did not have problems with my printer not recognizing these carts. However, the black is very streaky and after cleaning the nozzle heads probably about 6 times and "aligning" the carts a good 3 times, I am now OUT OF BLACK INK!! After printing an entire maybe 10 pages of printer TEST SHEETS! $50 down the hole and I again need another black ink, in ONE.... DAY...., scratch that, I messed with it for about an hour. AN HOUR!!! And I'm out of black ink. Either it's epson or it's these cartridges, but either way, I am getting robbed $&@%ing blind.... NOT a happy consumer >(

If you have a Epson printer that requires this, I have not found a better source for reliable cartridges than Amazon. I have an Epson WorkForce WF-3640 Wireless Color All-in-One Inkjet Printer with Scanner and Copier and thought I could get away with having Costco refill my ink cartridges (as I have done for other printers), but this printer knows the difference and will not accept anything other than a new Epson cartridge. Fortunately, (and to my surprise) the price at Amazon is only one dollar more per cartridge than having Costco refill the old ones! Highly recommended!

I received these on Oct. 2nd used the blue and red immediately and they worked Perfectly. Then 2 months later when I needed to replace the yellow it didn't work. The printer wouldn't even recognize the ink. When looking at the bottom the yellow doesn't even look the same as the one I just took out of my printer that came with it when I bought the printer this summer, The original yellow was bright and sunny yellow the new cartridge looked more like dry mustard color.

I had a laser printer thinking it would be a better option to the typical inkjet printers whereby the ink cartridges always dry out. But laser printers have their own problems, especially streaky and blotchy print outs. I won't do laser printers again.
But so far, Epson has done a good job of ensuring the ink cartridges don't dry out. Unfortunately, they just don't seem to last that long ensuring you purchase more. But, it's cheaper than toner cartridges. I'm glad I have an Epson inkjet printer.

This cartridge is the worst product I've purchased through Amazon. After countless nozzle cleanings, alignments, etc the only thing I can try is to replace it. I am getting streaking across the paper where it doesn't print. It looked like a refilled unit with the labeling loose and just poor appearances. This is the first ink I've installed as it is a new printer and we just emptied the originals that came with it. Very disappointed and I will not buy it again.
