Great For The Snowplow
Dws✓ Verified Purchase•July 17, 2023
I used this switch to replace one I was using to control a winch powered snowplow on my ATV. The original "waterproof" switch died from water leaks. This switch seems to be working much better and gets a lot of use but I won't be able to comment on it's longevity in the rain and snow for another month or two. However, after inspecting it closely, it appears to be much better made and the design much less likely to allow moisture in. If it does leak I will revise this review downward. Otherwise... 5 stars for now.
Good switch

Only reason for 4 stars is because i had to return one due to fautly switch. But new one is still going strong and i used it this winter for plowing
Works Great

Perfect replacement on my Honda ATV.
Fast delivery and worked well. I had to swap the Contactor connectors but very easy to do.

Delivered fast. Switch works well. Don't like the mounting system but going to try and get some bolts so I can mount it to my existing bracket. The wires were plenty long and my Contactor is in the back of the ATV. The outer covering is pre slit with the hot wire exposed and ready to tie into the ignition power supply. I think the up/down wire connectors are backwards but maybe the prior owner landed the power wires backwards on the winch motor.
Good, cheap alternative

I used this to replace a failing switch on my Warn winch. Had to to some jimmy-rigging to make it work since the screws on one didn't fit the other. I wanted to use the Warn mount but new switch. A couple tweaks made it work. If I remember correctly, the wires are a different color too, but that was easy to figure out. Has been working great since install.
