Ductile Frame to Fit Many Shavers
Wild Bruin✓ Verified Purchase•July 26, 2023
While I initially didn't plan on writing a review because so much has already been written on this stand, I decided to write one in response to the comments regarding the length of the razor holder. Indeed, for whatever reason, many have commented on the length, while not mentioning that the stand is malleable.
Out of the box, the razor stand was longer than my Edwin Jagger DE (3.3 inch handle length) safety shaver and so my razor didn't fit the stand. However, the stand is pliable, so I simply squeezed the two ends of the razor stand together, with a little more pressure on the top, until it fit my EJ. I also adjusted the brush stand "“ although in truth, it wasn't necessary and somewhat more difficult to accomplish, but I wanted a slightly better grip.
Finally, after making these two adjustments, I noticed that the stand was no longer flush with the sink counter. One final adjustment later and the stand was flush with the counter and the stand fit my DE shaver and brush the way I like it.
All in all, for the price, this is a very good stand "“ so long as you adjust it to fit your razor =). One caveat however is that my shaving brush is only 21mm in length and yet seems to be nearing the bottom of the stand. I attached two pictures to show that the stand did indeed fit my razor after some adjustments and another to show the distance between my brush and the bottom of the stand.

Nice for the most part

I like the stand I would change one thing. Make the brush holder taller so I can fit my cup with my shave soap under it.
Great design. Long handle razer only.

The good: I love the design. So many stands have the brush and razor on opposite ends. This always made things a little awkward for me since if I got a little careless I'd knock the whole thing over. This has essentially two separate stands that make it so that you grab the brush and the razor from the same angle. There's additionally a small chrome saucer underneath the brush so that if it drips, it'll drip onto the stand which won't stain your sink top. If you're the type of person who mixes soap out of a dish, the saucer is also a good place to rest a spoon that you can reuse. It can also probably fit a small alum block or a stick if you're okay with it potentially getting dripped on.
The bad: strict brush handle size requirements. I use the luxury badger brush from Viking's Blade and it fits perfectly. If your brush has a larger handle than that, don't bother. The long handle razer part is such a stupid design that could have easily been fixed without messing with the remainder of the aesthetics. The razer rests at an angle and has a small halfpipe (it's not really a halfpipe but I'm not sure what else to call it) that the end will rest on. If this little rest was extended even just 1cm it would fit every razer and it could have easily been done without changing anything else about the design.

Fits a classic, long handle safety razor perfectly

Fits a classic, long handle safety razor perfectly. I use a badger brush from Latherwhip (available here on amazon) and the brush fits great.
The only drawback I'll point out is that the bottom cup that holds the razor handle also tends to hold a bit of water. It's not worth docking a star over. It has a hole drilled into the holder for water drainage, but the position of the hole still allows lots of water to accumulate underneath the razor's handle. My safety razor is a butterfly style razor, so I was worried that the handle sitting in water will promote rust and eventually stop me from being able to open the razor to replace the blades. Nothing I couldn't improve/fix with 30 seconds and a dremel. My dremel "improvement" is concealed by the razor when it's in the stand. And when the razor is in my hand, well, that's when I should be looking in the mirror and paying attention to the task at hand, not this razor stand.
An even easier fix would be to simply shake or blow the water out of the handle holder portion when you're done shaving. No power tools required.
I've attached a few photos that show the stand before I applied a dremel tool to it. You can see the original hole and how it's too high in the cup to let all the water drain. Not a huge deal, but it bugged me.
It's still a 5 star product for me because of the way it fits my shaving equipment and the unique look. I much prefer it over the straight vertical stands and it holds both the razor and brush securely. Neither is going to tumble out onto the counter or floor because I accidentally bumped the stand.

Some Assembly 'might' be Required

I ordered two of these and one came in broken at the bend part circled in the picture. I had to fit the pieces together and JB wield them together for 24 hours before using. It kind of sucks to see a product delivered broken, to have to fix it, and wait 24 hour for use. I don't really blame the product for that, as one delivered just fine. But it does seem like a structural defect.
I have a few of these types of products: Art of Shave (expensive), some field stand made of molded plastic, some 3D printed stand, etc. I got this one because it was the only one that could hold my straight razor. I recently moved from the OneBlade CORE to a straight razor, so my Art of Shave stand did not hold my straight razor properly. As you can see, this stand is perfect for that. Easy enough to clean, but I do have to be aware not to put too much pressure on that particular joint.
The other one is a gift to a friend, as he will be moving to a straight razor as well.
