I really wanted to like this. It turned out to be far too dry for my tastes. What I need is a good almond butter that is right smack in the middle between this too dry product and the soupy Kirkland product.

Each jar came with grease-soaked wrapping and the butter itself was very stiff. Not the best experience.

Usually, Justin's honey almond butter is the best!! It is great with everything and I enjoy it by the spoonful! This batch, however, seems off. When you open the jar, there is darker, crusted, hard, nut butter stuck at the top sides of the jar. The natural oil, which is common with almond butters, is an unusual gel like consistency so even when it is stirred into the almond butter, the almond butter remains more dry than usual. This experience has made me think twice about ordering Justin's almond butter through Amazon. I am wondering if I was sold/sent jars of almond butter past their expiration date.
