This is a great mat. I trimmed it to fit my Weber and have cooked three meals on it. First and foremost it keeps my grill clean and looking new. No glop to contend with. Grill marks and that nice little taste of bark can still be obtained. Wish i had purchased these a few years ago. If you like to grill out just go for it.

I ordered these because I wanted something for grilling that would do a good job protecting from flame while enabling good grilling and have to say these have generally met the match! I love how easy they are to clean up, I also love how when you grill with them some of the juice chars to the mats enabling you to use that with veggies or to make a rue. What I don't like is there's no marking showing top/bottom (don't look for the Kona mark, it's paper that doesn't go on the grill) and the grill marks aren't as pronounced as the imagery (maybe I need to cook hotter). That said i love them for doing burgers, chicken or anything else that you don't want directly on the grill including veggies.

These make keeping the grill clean so simple and the mats themselves are very easy to clean after use. The only issue we've had using them was with burgers and the fat not having anywhere to drain. We ended up slicing a few holes in the mat to allow drainage because it was just too much trying to cook in all that. Otherwise steaks, chicken, pork, and veggies have all cooked on the mats perfectly. Non stick and so easy to clean! Love them!

Let's start out with I was skeptical about these things. Everyone has seen the infomercials and we all know how thing seem. Well I decided to get one to try it out but I researched it here on Amazon and decided on these. They are thicker than the competition and you pay for it. Well worth the money. I have a 6 burner Ducane Stainless. This was the first grill I tried it on. After heating up the grill with the mat on it, I put some chicken, ribs and hot dogs on it. To my surprise, not only did it cook them well, but it left grill marks. It truly cooked everything well.

So yesterday, here in Northen NJ, the weather was not the best. We were having our closing ceremonies for softball and used a 6 burner event grill. Now it is an open grill (no lid) but has a wind screen. We were trying to cook hamburgers on it. We have used it once before and the burger take a while to cook and tend to fall through the grates. The person cooking was at it for about 3 hours frustrated. I went home and brought these to him. Dropped them on the grill and watched the magic happen. We didn't even let it warm up, just started cooking. Not only did it keep the burger from falling through, but he said it was taking half the time to cook them. My guess is because it disperses the heat evenly across the mat or so it seemed. I put some hot dogs on there as well and just made it super easy to cook. Just roll them to cook the other side. Everyone who walked by the grill was asking what those were and the cook was just saying how impressed he was by them. I told them they are like the ones you see on the infomercial, just thicker, better but cost a bit more. Then I told them they can be reused about 200 times. That blew them away.

People were asking me what brand they were and I told them KONA. Look, if you're going to try one just to see what it can do, get a cheaper one. But you will regret not spending the extra few dollars fro this one. I have felt those and this one is definitely thicker which makes it easier to use like how a griddle would be. Yes, the grease still drops off into your bbq unlike a griddle, but not a big deal.

It cleaned relatively easy from cleaning while on the bbq to bringing it to your sink and some soap and water cleans it off. There are grill marks left from where it was, but not like it burned in. I'll add pictures so you can see. Solid product.

I bought this at full price. No discount, nothing free. This is my opinion of the product. Hope it helps. Great father's day gift for the BBQ dad's out there.

These BBQ mats work great. I have used them for Ribs, Steaks, Burgers, Hot Dogs, Shrimp, and all kinds of Veggies. Keeps the grill nice and clean. Don't wait to long to clean the mats after using them. They are much harder to clean if you let the stuff dry out on the mats. Overall they work GREAT.
