I loved the way it was packaged and mail. The product worked well. I had an extra toliet that does not get used that often, so there was some built up on the bowl. I used the Lime-A-Way and let it set as recommended and the bowl was clean of build up.

We have one toilet that has a serious rust problem. I had used Lime-A-Way toilet bowl cleaner before on a rust stain and it removed it. So, I bought this because I couldn't find it in the store. I used it one time, scrubbed around the bowl and left it for an hour. After flushing, it took the rust and scale with it! This is after years of cleaners, scrubbing etc.
If you find this doesn't work for you, I suggest repeated steps and leaving it in the bowl for a while.

Lime-A-Way worked great for us. It removed the lime that had accumulated at the water line in the bowl and some mineral streaks that were going down the bowl from the rim. Neither Comet or Tile-X worked anywhere near as well. After using the Lime-A-Way with a little brushing and letting it sit for a few minutes the toilet looked brand new.
This isn't exactly a gel - certainly not a thick gel as the name claims - but it is more viscous than a normal cleaning fluids. On the other hand, if it was a thick gel then you wouldn't be able to squirt it out of the bottle. I did a back flush to empty the bowl and then dried the inside of the bowl with paper towels first to prevent dilution. It runs down the sides of the bowl but enough clings to the bowl to get the job done. The results were fantastic.
