Very smooth and easy to apply

I bought this product over Angelus because I wanted a matte finish and it came with a brush and sponge. I wanted to refresh the handles of my handbag and I am very pleased with the results. The pic attached is of the left side after applying the paint and the right side is before. The product arrived a couple of days after ordering. After mixing the product with the brush it was very smooth to apply and the sponge made my project so much easier. I am very happy with how it turned out. It was a small bottle and I initially did not think I would have enough. I applied 2 coatings on each side of the handles and trim and had half a bottle remaining.
The Color Doesn't Last!

This is supposed to be a shoe dye, not a temporary shoe color. I purchased it to dye a pair of new leather shoes. I followed the directions, but the dye keeps wearing off on the toes and inside heel area. I finally took the shoes to a very reputable shoe repair place last week, and the owner told me that trying to re-dye shoes these days is a waste of money, time and effort. That the shoe manufacturers are now treating shoes with a sealant that does not allow them to be re-dyed successfully. They will not even try to re-dye shoes anymore themselves, because the same results will happen: the color wears off. Mine wore off the very first time I wore them.

Quite a small bottle. The colour of this dye is a pinky light purple, not what I wanted! Not worth returning due to own cost, so I will give it to someone who may want it. I wanted a grape purple, so the Feibings purple is a better colour for me. The Kaps comes with an inflexible brush applicator which is not that easy to use.
