Vivitar manual telephoto lens works well on my D3100 for the price. Focus can be tricky, but it brings things closer.

This is a great lens for the price! For those who aren't afraid of shooting manually, this will give you good bang for your buck. Perfect for getting wildlife and nature shots from afar. Shipping was quick and packaged nicely from Big Mike's.

I have used this lens a few times now, my daughter is in the band and when she does competitions, I am always so far a way. I love this lens, it allows me to zoom right in on here like I am standing right beside her. Would Highly recommend.
You must use a tripod and I would recommend a remote also but not necessary

There is a learning curve when using this lens. You must use a tripod and I would recommend a remote also but not necessary. But once you get use to the manual focus, this lens is a great deal !! The instructions that came with the lens were a big help. I would recommend this lens to anyone who wants to get closer and has the patience to learn how to use the lens.
