Did not work at all for me. I used it on a sunbrella patio umbrella and chair cushions. It took almost 2 bottle. I washed everything like instructed let everything dry for 2 days in the Florida sun then treated. It was in the sun for 2 more days before any rain came. Everything leaked horribly. The cushions were older and had started to leak a little.Rain REALLY leaks through now. The umbrella was new and I could feel a little mist coming through it before I treated now alot of water comes through. It looked like the water was beading up but it was still leaking through.I would of been better off not treating at all. Guess I will keep looking for something else that I hope will work.

The only fabric guard I know that's recommended by Sunbrella. If you're going to apply large quantities, use a good sprayer. I used this one:

Do it outdoors, in the sun, on a non-windy day to reduce overspray and facilitate quick drying. After 8 hours, the fabric regained the water repelling quality as tested using the same spray bottle above but with water. I'll test again in a few months and update this review if there's any issues.

Double your top life and keep moisture outside

The top beads water like new again. Great sealer, easy to apply and clean up. With the proper cleaning the top looks and performs like new, and will last far longer than ignoring it. Tops wear by use and grit trapped in the fibers as well as molds eating away at them. Clean and seal each year and you'll double your top life with enhanced performance the whole time.
