Decided to try this brand after previously using a little more expensive Verbatim BD-R 50GB's ... mistake. Four out of 10 of these turned out as toasters using this brand. Two failed during burns and two had what looked like heat bubbles. This is in contrast to using Verbatim BD-R's with 10 out of 10 perfect burns and flawless discs. I will stick with Verbatim BD-Rs -- the few extra bucks is worth the quality and I can avoid the frustration of having bad burns. I would not recommend these discs and will not purchase them again.
USED TO BE GREAT BUT NOT ANY MORE

These Optical Quantum OQBDRDL06LT-10 6X 50 GB discs were great when I first bought them but for some reason, they don't work as well as they used to. I tried to back up a lot of my data with these 50GB discs (since the 100GB discs are far too expensive at the moment). Many of them did not verify (using ImgBurn) and those that verified, I found some of the videos did not play correctly. In addition, I now see that the price of these discs have gone up. I tried Verbatim discs and they worked wonderfully.
Good product. And as with ALL discs, ensure you burn at proper speeds!

I've been using OQ BD-Rs for 5 years now. These discs will work in any drive that follows proper BD-R standards, I myself using LG drives. I called the company to specificalyl ask if these discs are HTL (high-to-low process), meaning they use much more robust non-organic layers that don't break down from light and humidity like CDs, DVDs, and low-end LTH (low-to-high) BD-Rs do. They are HTL, which is what you want.
Note: BD-Rs are usually not labeled if they are HTL, and only labeled with a warning if they are LTH due to the lower quality.
General Common Sense Warning: Do NOT burn at speeds above the rated speed of ANY disc. If it says "1-6x", that means the manufacturer started witnessing problems at 7x. Burning at higher than rated speed will cause you to risk a "light" burn, meaning the laser may not have had enough time to properly burn into the disc, even if a "verification" takes place after the recording (meaning the disc is only readable at the time - it has no bearing on how long that recording will last as the disc ages, especially if not stored properly).
I don't care nearly about the speed of the burn nearly as much as I care about the quality of the burn for long-term archive purposes, especially since I'm producing priceless family home movies. So when a BR-R says "1-6x Speed" on it, I won't burn any faster than 4x.

I attempted to burn five of these discs on my LG burner, none of them would finish the process. I would get "burn failed" message about half way through the burn process. I tried the Verbatim discs and they worked flawlessly each time. I don't know if I got a bad batch or they didn't like my burner or software, but I'll never buy these again. I'll pay a little more and stick with the Verbatim.
A very, very good BD-R DL disc. Don't waste anymore time looking at other disc and buy these.

These BD-R DL discs are amazing. Some very good quality when it comes to burning using these discs. I have used roughly 115 of these and only have 4 failure to complete writing errors when burning them. I have not had a single issue with them playing in my Sony bluray player at all. No artifacting, digitizing, skipping or pausing and then jumping forward. With these you will be able to back up anything digital you own that isn't the cloud which could be erased with out your consent or a hard drive with mechanical parts that could stop working. And from personal experience these things hold a ton of photos, A TON. Like other reviewers have said I would check to make sure your bluray burner can burn these disc before you buy. I had no problems with an LG burner I bought 3 years ago. A very high quality product which I would recommend and will keep buying for my own use.
