Fantastic quality! They will be warm in these!

My daughter is 10, and a little on the small side, so the medium was probably too large, but I figured, with enough layers, she'd be fine. And it will fit her again next year. the quality is fantastic! These will surely keep her warm even without layers. Love the sinch-cuffs around the ankles and the straps are adjustable, so they can grow with the pants! Great buy and great price!
5'1" 120lb adult- love these for snowboarding

Just got them today, tried them on and I'm thrilled. For $25 bucks, the quality is awesome - I just hope they're truly waterproof for snowboarding. They seem legit. I bought an XL. I'm 28 years old, 5'1" and 120 pounds. Went with the youth XL to save money and the reviews were better and there were many more reviews compared to the women's. They fit PERFECT! I plan to wear sweatpants underneath. See my photo.

I bought a small and it fits my 7 yo daughter perfectly. I'm told it's warm, lightweight and repels water. Her pants don't get wet. :) I like the slim design thats warmer than the bulky versions also the elastic stretchy part on the sides which allows comfort if you wear additional layers. One happy momma! I'll definitely buy these again.
Nice snow pants - see size chart!

These seem wonderful! Nice thick material - well made. Only problem was lack of clear sizing. My son is 5 yrs old, 42lbs and 43.5 inches tall. Based on what I read on other reviews I ordered a small hoping they'd be a little big so he could wear them this year and next. They were HUGE!!!! Then I saw the actual company sizing chart on the tag and according to that a small is a size 8! No wonder they are so big. I attached a pic of the company specific size chart to help other people. I am exchanging for an XS. I'm sure they will fit as I originally hoped.
8.5 yr old loves them!

Soft, flexible, sturdy seams, LOVE the elastic shoulder straps.

Our son is 8.5 years old, 52" tall and has a 24" inseam - he normally wears a size 9/10 boys youth (depending on the maker). I decided to purchase a size up for him in order to get 2 (maybe 3) winter seasons out of them. The measurements of the size LARGE YOUTH are provided in my attached pictures.

The inner cuff is snug and will keep out the elements and I plan on hemming the legs and then releasing as our son gets taller - he's in that phase where he has very long legs and no rear end at all. We are going to use these for our winter trip to Canada and he will probably grow a bit between now and then. If you are looking for a close to "EXACT" fit for your child, I'd advise ordering their size that they wear in clothing - but even then, every brand is different and every child is shaped differently - I wouldn't go too small and then have a seam pulling up their rear ends (uncomfortable). Hope the pictures I've attached help you somewhat in sizing :)

*Remember to account for clothing added underneath - winter clothing should never be too tight or it will not allow for heat to actually circulate underneath - a nylon fabric should be the first layer on the skin to wick away sweat - then cotton thermals and whatever pants one decides to wear - jeans aren't the best option because they get wet and stay wet.
