I'm not sure it's accurate and honestly, what else do you need from a thermometer?
Accurate Temperature But Not Sturdy/Secure for Me

This keeps good record of the temperature, but it isn't sturdy and I've had it drop off of its holder twice already (squirrels bump it when they scurry around). I tried hanging it on a hook on the front porch, but it won't stay aimed toward the window so I can read the temperature. Not a good product for me, although it might work well for others. I don't like to say bad things about a product when it could very well just be me. As far as the product goes, it's made of plastic with a metal holder that it slides into, not particularly securely.

Little hard to read,works and looks good.
The thermometer is about 15 inches tall which is a great size for demonstration purposes

I purchased two of these thermometers to use in our homeschool. We will be using one inside the house and one outside. The thermometer is about 15 inches tall which is a great size for demonstration purposes. It's easy for the kids to handle because it is lightweight and the numbers on the scale are large and easy to read. If you do use this thermometer outside, I do recommend that you anchor it well to a wall. I purchased these to replace one similar that I had hung outside on a push pin. It wasn't long before the wind knocked it down and broke it. This thermometer has three notches on the back that you can use to anchor it to a wall.
