This is a low maintenance, clean look that has served us well. This purchase was our second one. The first stood up well to the elements, except during hurricane season when the finial flew off, but we simply glued it back on and didn't have another problem... until someone in an F-250 came barreling down the street and knocked it down. Truth be told, the post withstood that hit far better than the mailbox mounted it. Bottom line... it was worth purchasing again, so we did.

Some reviews need rebuttal. This is sturdy, but moves if not locked in place, the design puts one post through another and is not connected by the plastic tabs-the tabs keep it from sliding out.
I did NOT screw the back of my mailbox, but used silicone to lock it to the post. Otherwise the mailbox moves around.
I wish the caps on the sides of the mailbox had a waterproof gasket. I caulked the joints on the tops and sides.
I like the look, but bought a different cap for the top.
The screws to attach the mailbox do not grab much, do not over tighten.
