If you travel and want to take your wine this is the way to do it. It is heavy. 51lbs with 8 bottles of wine. Totally worth it when you consider the value of the wine it carries and not having to worry about a broken bottle in your suitcase.

Tough as steel but rather heavy empty. When loaded with 12 bottles, it easily exceeds 50 pounds which creates a $100 surcharge on American Airlines.
Make sure TSA locks (you need two) have above average length in the loop so they can secure properly as the lid and base lip is rather thick.... again, very tough box.
First flight, resulted in lost lock. Probably because TSA agent didn't take the time to secure both of them properly.
