Level Posts

This worked out great. I had to get used to setting it up on the first post but after that it went really fast and the cuts came out really level. I had 20 4x4 fence posts to cut and cap and this was a great guide to make it come out perfect.
This is an excellent product. Very easy to use

This is an excellent product. Very easy to use, the more you use it the easier and quicker it goes. I cut about 20 4x4 post on a fence i built and they all came out perfect. A bit tedious to set up on each post, but well worth the straight, level, and easy cut that it will assist you in making. Highly recommend having one of these in your arsenal if you build a lot of things with 4x4s.
Great tool!

I cut off 30+ posts and averaged about 5-6 minutes each (prep, cut and removal). I did manage to break one of the bolts after about 20 cuts, but I was tightening them down pretty hard. So I would suggest you have extras on hand. I spent extra to have it shipped quickly, but even at $50 I saved a lot of money vs hiring someone to do it.
Having an extra set of hands would've made set up a little quicker but I was able to get it done on my own.
I would definitely recommend to anyone needing to cut posts.

1. Level and mark your posts before even attaching cut-guide. 2) I had best luck with 9" recip. blades.
The other reviews are correct in saying this cut tool does eventually get cut marks and may be worn out after a big project. I cut a dozen metal deck rail 3"x 3" post's. Worked pretty well and they are all evenly cut. Was worth it to me.
