That alone goes a long way in critically thinking people's minds and decisions.
There's a ton of research on ionization & technological deveopment, over the last 40 -50 years in 1st Japan & Russia, then EU & Isreal and, more recently, the Americas, on ionization and its effects on the health and well-being of humans, animals and plants. The results corelate & are duplicable. So there's enough to know that this isn't just bogus snake oil. [Any who claim such, have obviously Not Read any of the well-documented research from around the world, or would baisedly rather you buy their alternative product.]
Ions are produced naturally during lightning storms, where water crashes to ocean and lake shores, around quartz rock & granite mountains & quartz rock, by conifer trees by heating seasalt (pink himalayan seasalt candles - from Pakistan by the way) and made by falling water, including your shower & fountain. Basically, we feel great; invigorated, alive, positive & invigorated in those pristine environments.
On the other hand, there is reverse or low ionization, which has detrimental effects on us. These are found in/ caused by dirty, polluted, toxic, environments (cities, BigAg farms, mine areas, factories & surrounds, etc), high emf technology (planes, computers, cell/smart phones, tvs, fridge, hair dryer, electric lines & power stations etc), stale poorly filtered 'canned air' abbraded air (AC/HC systems in homes, businesses, stores, theatres & transport, in witches winds areas at certain times of years), buses, trains, offices, planes, buses, modern aittight homes/businesses) and chemical substances (perfumes, lotions, carpets, cleaning supplies, synthetic fabrics/clothes/drapes/ furniture glues, pesticides/fungicides/ herbicides/GMO foods, additives, perservatives etc) separate these ionic clusters, so that the (bad for you) positive ions are left floating in the air (which we then breathe in, Ugh!#!) & the negative ions (good for you) fall to the ground and die (BooHoo!), which is called a lack of ionization (because it lacks the good guy ions). According to the research, the effect of these poorly ionized environments causes many negative effects in human, animal & plant life, both pysiologically & psychollogically. The negative effects of the low/ reverse ionic winds 'Witches Winds' are infamous world over; Santa Annas(CA), Chinooks(BC), Brauns (Alps), Zephr (Persia) etc. The song Black Day InJuly, bespeakes the inner city pollution/poor ionization that exasterbates problems contributing to emotions & actions. These effects range from increases in allergies, asthma, heart problems (angina, trachacardia, attacks & failures). Also lowered cognition, poor decision making, loss of memory, lowered job performance, increased irritability Psychological problems such as more anger, anxiety, rage, depression, apathy, insomnia. Though for years I used the only available one on the market, yet I found their units to be poorly made; failing/replacing them frequently and though better than nothing, was only marginally effective. Yet I desperately needed an ionizer, so used them.

Have purchased both the 310 and the 302. We have worn them during flu season mostly on air planes but have worn them in theaters as well. We have not had to recharge either yet. We have so far stayed healthy! We bought as a friend of ours and his wife were wearing on trip to Europe. He has a number of health issues and his doctor suggested he wear the Air Tamer traveling. So far no flu or colds! Been coughed on a number of times while flying but we are good. My husband has a severe lung issue so we are grateful he has remained healthy. Of course, we did have the flu vaccine.

I have chemical sensitivities, mold sensitivities, and seasonal allergies. I can say that the AirTamer helps just a tad when it comes to chemical smells. I use it when I paint and when I'm working with coworkers that wear strong perfume. If it is a faint smell I really feel like it helps a lot. However, if the perfume is very strong and I'm having to stand near the person it can only do so much. Better off with it than without in those cases, though! Also, I have had many good experiences using this product to combat allergies. During ragweed season I'll get struck with some insane allergies... I put the AirTamer on and the allergies go from unbearable to very manageable in about 10 minutes. Comparing this to a spells I've had over the years where nothing helped... this was kind of a miracle worker. I'd definitely recommend it!

There are a couple design flaws with this ionizer. First, there is NOTHING to protect the delicate bristles at the top center of the unit that emits ions. If you try to store the unit in the metal case that it comes with, the inside of the case slams against the bristles. There is nothing to protect the bristles because they protrude ABOVE the top edge of the unit. Secondly, if you spill one drop of liquid while drinking onto the bristles, it's going to short out the unit and will most likely stop working. A single drop of rain could do the same thing. Lastly, there is no CLIP to keep the unit in one place. If you bend down or lean over, the unit is swaying everywhere uncontrollably. Bottom line: The delicate bristles need protecting and it definitely needs a clip. It's almost certain that the until will get damaged with the present setup.

Also, you must have the string against the skin on your neck as a negative ground to help it work properly. If you don't have it against skin, it will not emit as many ions (as per the instructions).

This is an amazing product! I am constantly moving from room to room for my work and require an air purifier. This is very practical since a stand alone air purifier is not convenient for me
