First let me say I like the style of the hat and its fit was a little big. I had one years ago and when I found this on Amazon I was happy. I asked a question to the community and I never got an email or answer back, which I have done with other items I was buying or had bought. I came on Amazon today and in the community questions and answers my question wasn't there!!! My question was about the chemical smell of the hat. So I hand washed it in cold water like someone else had said to do and boy was that a mistake. When I was rinsing it, it ran black water and I had black dye all over my hands, Thought I'd never get my hands clean again, but now I'm glad I did wash it because if I had ever gotten caught in the rain, my blonde hair would have been Black!! plus the hat still has a chemical smell. I am very disappointed with the seller and the maker (China) that no warning was given about possible dye running when getting hat wet. Will never buy from this seller again.

I was looking for something more stylish then a baseball cap, and this is perfect. It's a little bigger, and fits over my hairstyle, and doesn't really mess up my hair. Very comfortable and light, and I actually forgot I was wearing it. I am extremely happy with this.

I wish it were a little roomier but it is OK. We have a convertible and I wanted a hat that would cover my short-ish hair without giving me "hat-head" hair dents. This hat just fits over all my hair, so that the sun would not bleach the color out of it. If it were very hot out and my head were to get sweaty it would not look too great when I take the hat off, but in the coolness of the day when I wore this after getting it, my hair just needed to get shaken out a little.

I've been wearing a cabbie hat for years, and it was falling apart so after years of trying a new hat, this one arrived today. It fits just like my original, it's medium fit, not huge and ridiculous, or tight around the crown so it pouches up, not a good look or comfortable. This one is light to medium weight, COTTON, thank goodness! Perfection in everyway! If you do not adore this hat...send it to me!

Was having trouble finding a turquoise hat for a party I am headed to. Luckily found this one with prime shipping (perfect, I'm a procrastinator). Ordered a hat in the turquoise color and ended my search.

Hat arrived and while it's a cute hat it is NOT turquoise even though it is labeled as so. It's blue. Not even blue-green, and no where close to turquoise.

A hat is a necessity for this prop party so due to my procrastination I can't return it (it's fine, my fault on that, I will make due) but a warning to all, the turquoise is NOT even close to turquoise, so if that's what you need, don't buy from here.
