Looks super cool, it's nice and heafty, the blade is thick which I like, but it did not come to me sharp enough to cut paper and I've been working it on the sharpening stone since, TRYING to get a good edge but for the life of me I can't figure out why I can't get it any sharper. ALL my other knives respond very well to the same stone, from my vintage Gerber to the novelty shotgun shell pocket knife. On top of that, after the first few times opening the knife it's started sticking to the point that I have to pull the blade out with my hand to open it instead of using the thumb catch. Would NOT use as my EDC, or even backup to the backup. Not recommended.

This is my second M-Tech knife after buying and unfortunately losing my gold flame knife, which I absolutely loved. I'd have bought another like it but unfortunately I could only find it for sale in gold with a nonmatching rainbow clip. Instead I went with this in what I thought was complete gold, and though I realized the handle was a matte gold as opposed to the polished blade and accents I didn't realize it would have silver (steel?, idk) screws, specifically the large one holding the blade to the handle, which makes it look as cheap as it is. Appearances aside, it seems to be a well functioning and quick assist open knife with a good, solid weight to it. There's no noticeable play in the blade and it was shipped sharp enough to shave in the usual arm hair test. One bonus feature I like but wasn't mentioned, or maybe I just read over is that the point at the bottom of the handle is actually a screwdriver. Not sure if it works on flathead screws as I couldn't find any around my house to test it on but it works well for phillips. I typically only use my knives for opening cellophane, blister packs, envelopes, and simple things of that nature, but I used my previous knife to open canned food a couple times when my actual can opener broke and the finish wasn't even scratched. This blade seems to be the same type of metal and finish, so I'm not worried about damaging this one with the occasional torture I put them through. Even if I do, it's so cheap it wouldn't be a significant loss. Overall, one of the best knives I've ever owned but I can't give it a perfect score just based off its appearance compared to my last M-Tech.

Edit: Upon further use I've noticed that the weird hook shaped cutaway in the bottom of the handle is a bottle opener as well. Not a great one, but it works and is another nifty feature like the screwdriver.

A knife for under 10 dollars that is this solid and this sharp is an awesome find .

First off, the build of this knife is extremely solid. Emphasizing on that this knife does not feel like a cheap plastic knife. It feels entirely metal and has a perfect weight to it that is not to heavy or light.

Mechanics:
The knife opens and closes well. I have had no problems with the opening mechanism and have not had any accidents of where it opened on its own.
All the screws on the knife come tightened and secured.
The clip works well and it even includes what looks to be a glass breaker on the bottom. I haven't tested the bottom point on anything, however along with the knife it feels strong and durable.

Aesthetics . It is a great looking knife overall. The gold finish definitely helps to keep this knife from being lost . There are different groves and accents that look both pleasing and support the function of grip.

Lastly, THIS IS ONE SHARP KNIFE. I own many knives and a lot of expensive ones as well. I was near shocked to find a knife this cheap and this sharp.

Overall 5/5 stars . A great knife for well under what it's worth

I really like this knife in so many ways. First its a beautiful gold color that makes it quite unique and easy to find. It is remarkably quick release and is probably the sharpest knife I have. It is built very well and feels solid and secure in your hand. To reset the blade its an easy thumb press lever. For the price you cannot go wrong, its a great knife.

Really awesome knife!
It has a beautiful golden finish (not to yellow) over the whole knife. The blade itself is highly reflective and very shiny along with the pocket clip. The body has a matte finish, almost satin.
The assisted opening works perfect and the blade came extremely sharp.
Shipping on my order was very fast.
