Does What It's Supposed To
Hailee Ammons•May 22, 2017
This product works exactly as expected! The bronze looks very nice. It's sturdy enough that I don't worry about bananas bending the top piece of metal. I've only ever placed about 5 at a time on there but it would probably hold more just fine. The bottom is plenty spacious - in fact almost too big for me! We're only a household of two so we don't buy too much fruit at a time or it would go bad before we could eat it. So the few pieces of fruit sometimes look lonely in the large bowl area. But I'd much rather it be too large than too small so all in all I'm very happy with this product!
Worth the purchase

Didn't expect it to be big, which is very good since I can put more fruits in the bowl part. Very sturdy and well built. I attached photos with the measuring tape, to give buyers an idea about dimentions and how the banana hangs over the bowl. Great item for the price!! Love how the bronze color matches with my espresso cabinet. Assembly was a breeze, no need for tools. Awesome item indeed! Love!

It was a humid, sweaty August in the Midwest. The hum of the refrigerator was punctuated only by the occasional zip of a fruit fly. What little counter space there was had been consumed by what looked like an overturned oriental market, with fruit from end to end of the counter in various states of decay. It was about this moment that my spouse muttered, "We need to get a fruit basket for all this." I wholeheartedly agreed.
We selected this fruit basket based on three factors:
1. The dark bronze finish would contrast nicely with the vibrant colors of the fruit.
2. The bowl had enough physical volume to hold a small truckload of fruit.
3. Banana hangar.
The banana hangar attaches separately, but remains sturdy, particularly when weighted down by a bunch of bananas. The bowl is larger even than the picture lets on. We can easily dump a 3 lb bag of oranges in it and still have room for a small melon. After about 6 months of ownership, there isn't a sign of flaking finish or rust to be seen. My kitchen counter now looks like a classy stock photo from a catalog.

This is my review for DecoBros Wire Fruit Tree Bowl with Banana Hanger, Bronze. This is such a pretty fruit bowl that has a brushed bronze coating on it. It would go with just about any type of decor you could imagine. This is exactly what I needed as it has a rather large bowl that measures 13 x 5 inches. So it holds a lot of fruit. Being that my husband and I are trying to eat healthier, a big bowl is perfect. So we have plenty of fresh fruit to munch on at any given moment. This fruit bowl is very sturdy and it will not tip if you just have bananas hanging from it and no fruit inside. Just make sure you put the plastic cap things that come with it or it will not be as study and will be a little bit wobbly. This bowl has a removable hanger so if you don't want to hang bananas or grapes you just don't have to install it and it still makes a pretty center piece. All and all this is an awesome fruit bowl. If I had to do it over again, I would still buy this one over and over again. I really have no complaints or issues. I am thrilled with my desiscion to buy this fruit bowl. It is easy to put together. It looks really nice and is sturdy. It keeps my fruit fresh and in sight so I don't grab the cookies so fast. It looks much more expensive than what I paid for it.  If you are reading this and you are debating buying this...just buy it already. You will not regret it one bit. :-)
We hate countertop clutter, but love this basket!

We love this fruit basket. I think having it has helped us to consume more fruit. Before we had this, our fruit stayed hidden in the pantry or in the refrigerator fruit drawer. There our bananas would over-ripen before consumed. Our apples would get soft. And our oranges would get mold. Plus there is the added concern of having to store round food on flat surfaces. Without this fruit bowl, they would just roll all over the place. The bananas would become bruised while laying on the cold, hard granite countertops. Now they hang nicely, as if from the banana tree itself. Each morning as I reach for a banana, I am transported to a lush, green plantation in Hawaii. Tearing one banana away from the bunch that hangs from the banana hook causes me to wipe my brow - perhaps some Pavlovian-esque response to the imagined tropical humidity. Or still yet, maybe I am channeling some genetic connection to our primate cousins.
Whatever the reason, my family and I are bananas over this fruit basket. If you decide to get it yourself, I am certain your kitchen conversations will include the phrase, "Orange you glad we got this fruit basket?" Just think of all the mansions you have ever visited. Didn't they all have some classy way to store their fresh fruit? It's like the millionaire residents are subtly reminding you that they are so wealthy they can afford fresh fruit in the middle of January. And the fruit just sits there so inviting, but you know that fruit is forbidden. It is the bounty of a seven digit or better salary. Well, now, thanks to Amazon.com, that bounty is yours. When they visit your kitchen, your friends will all think you have suddenly received a sizeable inheritance... or perhaps you were one of the recent billion dollar power ball winners? Either way, they will envy your lush and colorful fruit display. But unlike the stingy, wealthy mansion occupants you recalled earlier, you will share your elegantly displayed fruit with your visitors.
