This is a nicely made pad that I got to replace another of a different brand that had broken. I attached this to the foot of my kickstand with a couple of small bolts to make it a permanent part of the kickstand. I have already done this with another bike; it is always there so you don't have to fumble for it when stopping on soft ground, it doesn't interfere with the operation of the kickstand, and it never gets left behind.

Well it's as bada** as a kickstand pad can get. I actually like the fact that it is not a bright color or something easily visible. I keep this on the ground in my driveway whenever I set my bike for the night. It's handled everything from the weather, asphalt, bike weight, and wind. Doesn't blow away and has decent weight and thickness to it for a solid piece of plastic. I have their bike cover on the way now. I think I have found a new company I will be sticking with.

The Badass kickstand pad is exactly that, badass! It will keep your bike from sinking into hot asphalt or if you like to park in the grass occasionally. The pad is pre-drilled so you can attach a cord so you can easily remove it once you're on the bike, I make mine long enough to tie around my grip so I don't forget its down there, the bright colors help with that also. I see all these reviews about how it could slip out on smooth surfaces? That isn't possible unless your kick stand fails! The kick stand keeps the bike from falling or sliding, not the pad. You could park your bike on ice and it wouldn't fall over unless the kick stand broke off.

i got two of these, one for my son, one for me. he got the orange one, i got the black one :) so far, seems like a quality piece. i have a satchel i carry for my wallet, phone, etc. and i added this to my necessary equipment list when we ride. it fits well in the satchel.
do yourself a favor, like the other suggestions, and tie a length of paracord to the pad for easy retrieval when it's time to leave... save your back :)
