So far this unit has been fantastic! I have used it for about a month on my 38' 5th whl RV. It was easy to hook up, came ready to go, and in literally minutes I had perfectly soft water. I live in Arizona where the water is typically very hard. I had used another brand previously and I could never seem to get it to work for more than a week before the water was hard again. I just tested my water now after nearly a month of use and the test strip shows like it did when I tested the water after install. So satisfied! I happily recommend this unit!

Works great. Best purchase for our fulltime RV life sytle. Some water supplies are so hard you can walk on the water, hehe, But this little unit softens the water so very well. Easy to use and fits in the rv basement perfectly.
Solved our hard water woes

Six months out of the year we live in our fifth wheel, which is permanently parked in a seasonal RV park in Michigan. The water in the park is very hard and had started destroying plastic ware and junking up our faucets and shower head. We purchased this softener based on other reviews, price and ease of usage. We haven't been disappointed. Highly recommend this product, especially if your RV is stationary.

The only complaint I have is that I didn't buy this sooner. It is easy to use and makes an incredible difference. I'm still on the original filter material, so I can't say how easy it is to change it. The instructions are pretty clear and straightforward, so I'm not expecting any issues. It is a little heavy, but I knew that when I purchased it. Not only would I buy it again, I have recommended it to anyone who will listen. I do recommend a basket or as I used, a square flower pot to help hold it up on grassy surfaces. The only other thing you will need is plain old table salt.

Super easy hook up and everything needed is included. I bought salt before it came but it comes fully charged and ready to go. After one month of service (we are full time RV'rs) the test trips that are also included shows unbelievably soft water (was very hard before installation).
