Would NOT recommend
Amazon Customer✓ Verified Purchase•January 6, 2018
I would not recommend this bike to workout enthusiasts. I originally purchased the indoor exercise bike after spinning classes got to be a bit pricey. Unfortunately, this bike is not well made and not a good substitute. It's screws have fallen off on the peddles (strapping your feet in) and the foundation of it is wobbly. When I turn the knob to increase my resistance, it decreases automatically shortly after. Schwinn is normally a fantastic company and I love their outdoor bikes. This Schwinn IC2 Bike however, is a giant let down.
Product Damaged

Unfortunately we received this product damaged. I noticed a hole in the box. I opened it hoping the bike was still intact but we found damage to the frame and brake stop. Without the brake stop my wife won't be able stop the wheel. I will have to return this product.
Mostly Awesome But....

its awesome but the seat has to be replaced. Its hard as rock and it will damage your personal parts if you use it with that seat. OUCH
only bad thing so far
oh one foot was dented from the factory. Know this because the box was not dented or even torn. so it was put in the box that way. I banged it back to fit the bottom with a hammer. not the prettiest fix but good to go for use. :-(

Super disappointed! :(

As with other customers, my bike arrived in a box that looked like it had been in a giant rock tumbler for a month. The heart rate/rpm monitor screen was broken upon arrival, but I went gamely on with assembly. The left pedal is not threaded correctly for insertion. So thanks, Schwinn, for selling me a $400 hundred-pound piece of trash.
Compromise for an acceptable price - another one with shipping damage due to packaging method.

Arrived with damage due to the way it is placed in the box when shipped. From review here, it sounds as if these types of issues tend to happen with this product due to the weight and the insufficient packaging method used. The metal ends were bent in, resulting in the paint in those areas to flake off exposing the bare metal. I really didn't want to return this 90+lb item so I worked with Amazon to come to an agreement on a partial refund, and used a rubber mallet to move the bent metal back into place enough to allow the stabilizing horizontal bars to be screwed in.
As for the feel of the bike overall, it seems like a fair compromise for a good price on a brand name bike. The 31lb flywheel makes the bike feel cheaper than those with 40lb, and the adjustment screws need tightened every time to prevent wobble due to the loose tolerances. Chain is (as expected) noisier than a belt, but it's not overly loud. The computer is cheap/basic, and the dial for adjusting resistance reminds me of every shower in existence where 3/4 the dial does nothing, and 1/16 of the dial seems to be a night/day difference. As I said, I'm willing to live with these compromises for the price. I'd say go with this if you want to try out indoor cycling and are on a budget, and invest in something sturdier with a better feel once you know it's worth it for you.
