This is a very cute suit. However, my 11 year old daughter is slender, with barely a chest and there are round pads in the top, that make her look like she has a teenage chest. The skirt is very short, having said that, most people probably wouldn't have a problem with the suit. I am a more modest mom & she looks older than she is in it. Good quality, washes well.

I like that it actually covers my daughter. We like modest swim suits, & there are not too many out there that are modest & cute. Unfortunately the sailor symbol started peeling off after the 3rd time my daughter wore it. We hand wash our suits & hang dry to be gentle on them. So I was surprised this happened. But, it was fairly cheap, & I guess you get what you pay for.

The suit is cute, however, the top is huge and the bottom is small. My daughter is on the shorter side and fairly curvy for a 7 y.o. but the straps completely fall off of her, the bottom is super tiny AND we ordered a size larger than normal. She is a straight 8 in clothing and we ordered her a 10/12. This will be the only season she will be able to wear the bottom plus, I have to cut and re-sew the straps in order for her to wear it. I only kept it because my daughter ripped all the tags off prior to trying it on otherwise, I would have returned it. In short if you have a tall and skinny kid then, this is the suit to order. The material of the suit is nice and the suit is well-made.

The bottom is perfect size, but the top is much bigger to the point it does not even stay on her shoulders. The material is thinner than I am use to. it would be a cute bathing suit if the sizes matched up.
