The shirt had the expected recovery compression wear differential pressure profile -- pretty tight at the wrists and looser at the shoulder.
So, I did expect to work on at least some level. However, and I don't know why, it works better than I expected (as other have also mentioned in their reviews).
As a masters swimmer, shoulder pain is a constant companion. I had hopes for it, but since it didn't actually provide all that all that much support in the shoulders when I first used it, I was prepared to be disappointed. But, I was not.
Surprisingly, it helps a lot with shoulder pain and has become one of my most-used recovery tops.
