Not the quality of larger Luminara candles for sure!

I purchased two of these about a year and a half ago for my newly remodeled bathroom "spa". And I paid $49 for the two so they were more expensive at the time than they are now. One of the candles soon would not work because one side of the AA batteries seems to always leak acid onto the contacts and it will not work. I scrape the acid off of the contact and reload batteries and it will works but only for a short while. I have at least 6 of the larger "D battery" Luminara wax type flameless candles that are fabulous but these smaller versions just don't perform as well (as others have noted). Disappointed that these two little "tootie candles" are so much trouble for the price I paid. :-(
First it looked like it needed batteries

Purchased just a few months ago and already one does not work at all. First it looked like it needed batteries, so I replaced those and that latest about 1 week. So I changed out the batteries again and this time it didn't work at all. Do not purchase these. They are expensive and last only a few months.
Not near as good as the larger version.

I had to rewrite my review. I love the bigger version because they work. These smaller candles stop working after a few uses... I don't know if I've gotten bad batches but I kept changing out batteries that are brand new, yet these candles never hold up. My larger versions work wonderfully and that's why I bought these. Waste of money;(

I liked these while they worked. However, after less than a year, they suddenly stopped working. I have other flameless votives with timer from other companies, and they have lasted for years and are still working. I love the look of luminara candles, and have other luminara candles that have lasted. I do not know what happened to these, but I am so disappointed in them. Too expensive to have such a short life!
Luminara is hands down the BEST MOVING FLAME battery operated candle on the market.

Luminara is hands down the BEST MOVING FLAME battery operated candle on the market. Very good quality and the batteries last a very long time. Much longer than those placed in off brand similar candles. I have purchased 4 sets of various Luminara candles as well as received one as a gift. Love these candles! Super great for those that can't burn real candles due to fragrance or whatever. Beautifully realistic flicker. Everyone thinks they are real candles at first glance. Well worth the higher price than competitiors.
