It's a little disappointing after reading all of the glowing reviews. Cinches up smaller than I would like. I also feel that it would work better if it had two strings, one on each side rather than one long one. You have to pull the one string really far to cinch it closed and then there is such a LONG cord when it is closed. Nice idea, but doesn't seem any better or more special than the others that cost less. This one has an outer drawstring bag it comes in which I guess you can use for other things. Other than that it seems unnecessary and kind of useless because it's pretty small.

I wish I had discovered this organizer years ago! I keep my favorite makeup in it all the time, and can find items easily. To travel, I just cinch the drawstring and put the kit in my carry-on bag. I haven't had any items escape through the small opening. I haven't needed to wash mine yet, but hope it will be durable for many years. Some colors--especially the metallics--are overpriced, but don't waste your money on knock-offs.

I purchased this item and a similar one that was much more expensive. Well, this won out. I've spilled oil inside and it didn't leak, it is perfect to tie up and put away, and then folds flat so I can find all my makeup easily. I use to use a makeup bag and ended up dumping everything out. This basically lets me do that, but with no mess and a simple pull of the string and it's all back together.

Love this! Have always disliked putting my cosmetics directly on a hotel vanity when traveling. With this great cosmetic "bag", case solved! Debating about number of stars b/c it does what it's says, which is great, but it's cheaply made. I paid $30 but it's now listed for $15, which seems a lot closer to what it should be. It probably cost $1 to make? I'm trying to figure out who to contact because one of the pull strings has already broken on mine just within a few uses.
