Beautiful, but does run small

Bought this set for my mom's queen bed in her guest bedroom. The bed is a standard queen with regular size mattress (not high profile or deep pocket). It's a beautiful quilt set - looks very rich and has a good weight. She was very happy with the look of the set, but my one complaint is that it does run small - package says Queen/King, but it doesn't drape down to the floor like the picture shows.

This coverlet is no where near the picture. I ordered a king size as well and it barely covers the top of my bed with about three inches overhang all around. Yes it is pretty and the color is fantastic BUT it does NOT fit a king size bed! If you have a full size bed and order the king size you might almost get the look in the picture.

The pillowcases that came with the quilt were obviously used by someone and returned because they had hair on them. The actual quilt upon close inspection had a small black mark that looked like grease. I placed it on my queen size bed and it is such an odd size. It says queen and kink but it doesn't properly fit either sizes. The sides are very long while from the top to the bottom of the bed, it is very short. As for quality picture this:

I love this set. It brightens up my room even more than I expected. One thing to note is I ordered the Queen size as specified in description; however, when delivered, that size was checked as king size. Another note is that I have this on a double bed. I have added foam padding on top of mattress which adds at least additional 4 inches. To give you an idea, the king size fits my double bed closely similar to picture. May be approximately 4-5 inches from floor on sides with corners resting on floor about 3 inches. I feel it is perfect for my full size bed. So tired of these bedspreads and comforters that barely reach over the side of the mattress leaving exposed sheets and blankets. , I doubt it will fit a king size and may even be short on a queen size bed. The pattern is very well done with embroidered stitching of the leaves and flowers. And the material is quite soft to the touch. All in all, this set is beautiful to brighten up for the spring/summer months.
I also have king sized down pillows and the shams fit great. Very happy with this product

Very happy with this product, especially for the price. The grey is a bit darker than the photo, and the flower details are medium-dark blue, so plan on the colors being generally more pronounced. Overall, would definitely recommend this product.
