Hands-down the easiest, best-tasting, best textured scone mix anywhere. I was taught to make scones by my Dad's Scottish aunt when I was very young, and have always loved them. Not making them, but eating them!

These are perfect. Just perfect. Water, mix, bake.

Best scone mix. Honestly, I've tried several and these are my favorite.
I am a home baker, but I have had little to no luck with scone recipes. I think I would need a successful scone baker to teach me.

Until I find that person, I have these delicious mixes. Warm scones from the oven with lemon curd. Heavenly.

After my local store's scones took a disheartening nosedive in quality, I started searching for a replacement. This won't be it. I followed the directions precisely and got very nice and consistent baked goods. The taste, while a bit bland, is reasonable. Unfortunately, they're not anywhere close to an actual scone. The interior texture is much closer to a muffin. I suspect this was a necessary compromise for ease of preparation. And they are wonderfully easy to prepare, whilst actual scones are not. So, while these are a perfectly reasonable and convenient accompaniment to one's coffee or tea, those searching for a true scone texture -- dense, flaky and buttery -- should look elsewhere.

Taste and texture were good. I had to add an extra 10 minutes to the cooking time to get desired results. My only complaint is about the price. You can get the same quality and quantity for 1/3 the price at Traders Joes.
