Very good bike cover!

I previously used a cover that just wasn't big enough. One that I got at a bike shop. It fit's my 26" mountain bike but it was a stretch over my 29" mountain bike and it finally ripped in a couple of spots an never reached the ground. Now this YardStash cover fits great over my 29" mountain bike. It easily fits over it. It looks well made too. Plus I like the elastic at the bottom to snug up against the bottom of the tires. You can see in the photos the bike with and without the cover. I do have the bike stored in a tight fighting place. So it takes me a little work to get the cover fitted all around the bike but it does the job well.

I actually realized after I received it that it's not a cover that I need but more of a bag. I keep my bicycle on my balcony in the winter months and it starts to rust. This product definitely covers my bike but it does not protect it from the elements. Also, because it's not sealed, on windy days, the bag is puffing up all over the place. I can't imagine that it's really being protected from the elements. But it's better than nothing I suppose.

I wanted an all weather cover for my bicycle as I needed to store my bike on my porch. If I could, I would store my bike inside our apartment, but we are fairly limited on space. So, to the porch it was.
After searching a few forums and looking at reviews, I came across the Yardstash. I ordered it, and it arrived in less than 24 hours. That was pretty awesome. I have a 29er bike with wide drop bars, and the Yardstash XL easily covers the entire bike. I think the best thing about the cover is that there are 2 slots near the bottom right wheel that allow for a lock/cable combination. Even though I live on the second floor and away from the street, you can never be too careful (I always lock my bike).
The cover has a latch/clip n the bottom to help keep the cover on securely. This is helpful when the wind picks up.
If you can't store your bikes inside your home, this cover is a good solution. Just remember to do some routine maintenance on your ride as the weather can be pretty harsh on your drivetrain. I have a steel bike, so the weather can be especially harsh on the frame. However, routine maintenance can go a long way.

This bicycle covert is very well made of a heavy duty nylon material, like a windbreaker. It also has a heavier silver sun reflecting material on top in a wedge shape that fits over the handlebars and along the frame of the bike. The ends of the cover have elastic inserts that fit over the wheels to hold the cover in place. They worked great during the high winds of a recent storm, keeping the cover in place during the storms. The cover also has a strap on the bottom that prevents the cover from opening up like an umbrella and flying away. I have not had it for very long, so I cannot comment on how it holds up over a long time period, but it is well made and appears to be holding up well so far. I have an old MONGOOSE mountain bike and it covers the bike very well, almost like a custom made cover. For the price, I don't think you can go wrong, and it arrived very fast using Priority Mail.

Fits my bike well. I was concerned that it wouldn't be wide enough to go across the handlebars with a mirror attached, but it fits really well. It's a little longer than I thought, but the extra length tucks up under the seat; no problem. Has reinforced holes in front for passing a lock chain through, and a buckle to lock under the bike so the cover stays on. I don't know how well this would stand up to really bad weather; I got it more as a dust cover, since I keep my bike inside for the most part. But the material is good-quality and seems waterproof. It's been outside for a few nights and keeps the bike dry and clean. I use this cover when transporting my bike in the bed of my truck, as well. So far it has held up well. Overall a great buy, and I'm very happy with it.
