Really painful.

The manual epilator really freaking hurts. It does a wonderful job at pulling out your hair, but it hurts too much for me to be able to use it on myself. The tweezers are also kind of blunt, but still work pretty well.
I also thought that I would be getting a pink set, but I got a blue one. It's still very cute and I love the packaging and the little pouch that it comes with to keep the tools in.

I was skeptical at first, but I LOVE this tool - it's so easy to sit in front of the TV and just do it, and the tweezers were a great added bonus.

This little tool is amazing! Yeah, it hurts a little, because it really is pulling out the little hairs above your lip! I use to pay 12 bucks each time to get the upper lip waxed, so since this was only 12 bucks to purchase, I didn't even blink before pressing that "1-click buy now" button. I'm so glad I did! It is packaged so cute with the little floral pouch!
My only thing is that the tweezers are worthless. I had the hardest time using them to pluck out individual hairs because they just slip out. However, 12 bucks is still worth it for this little magical spring! Highly recommend! I love how I don't have to wait anymore for my upper lip to be "bad enough" to be worth getting waxed. ;) I can take a couple seconds each day if I wanted to clear it up. It even gets the tiny baby ones!

Works. Was a learning curve for sure. I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong until my husband showed me but it's like having 10 tweezers at once. You can move along pretty quickly. Your hair has to be fairly long won't get the real short but it's worth it definitely. Great product great idea!!

Take some time and practice with it. After awhile, it actually is almost therapeutic to use. All these reviews about it not working or having pain... If you shave and then wait and go get a wax, that hurts too. Your body will adjust and it'll soon know what to expect. Just take your time and keep trying until you get the rhythm of it and it'll work beautifully. 4 stars because it's not very ergonomic but the speed and ease of use outweighs that.
