Well, is IS SS. But, as other have said, the adhesive is not very good. I needed to have it wrap around a curved area, the curve running with the width of the roll, but the SS metal is so tempered that it resists forming, plus the adhesive is weaker than the tempering strength and pulls itself off. If you are applying this product to a flat surface or a curve running with the length of the roll, you may be fine.
