Bought to use with my Armasight Thermal scope. This is a must have if you buy a thermal scope as the four double A's will not last and leave you seriously mad when you have a coyote in your sights and the batteries die. Been there done that! Buy the battery pack and two sets of batteries that are really good, you will be happy you spent the extra money!
I don't like the cable and the way it connects

It has been easier just to use the normal batteries. The extra battery source is bulky and adds weight to my AR. I will use it more as I night hunt coyote where I can have a place to rest the gun while hunting. I don't like the cable and the way it connects.
