Worked perfectly on my 2018 Kia Forte

Seems to be a very good items, well made. It simply attached to a 3/8th drive to turn the caliper piston so the calipers fit over the new brake pads. I was needed for the rear brakes, the front brake only needed a normal caliper clamp tool.
Well made and works well with some patience

I was surprised at how well built it is. I have professional kit that doesn't work as well as this guy. Be patient, spray penetrant into the piston, and once you get the caliper moving it goes fast.
Worked great on rear brake caliper piston for 2013 Elantra GLS

I used the face with the 4 small pins in the corners to align with the 4 slots on my caliper piston. You turn the piston Clockwise to screw it in and make clearance for the new thicker brake pads. You have to use quite a lot of force to get the piston to move at first. I attached a tube to the bleeder screw and cracked it open slightly to let the old brake fluid in the caliper reservoir exit easily and be discarded. I didn't want to push the old brake fluid back up the line and possibly overflowing the brake fluid reservoir under the hood. By cracking open the bleeder screw this made turning in the piston much easier.
only this tool will work for rear Honda caliper piston

unlike the rest of automotive world, HONDA has this unique hydralic pistion which slowly extends as your brake pads wear down. Usually a c-clamp is used to press this cylinder back down into caliper for new space needed for new pads. With HONDA you have to buy this tool that looks like metal rubics cube. with a 3/8 drive socket and extention the 4 pointed side lays into the large x-slots seen in photo... Then crank to your RIGHT to compress piston back down. It will greatly resist at first"¦Keep going till cylindar is flush with caliper housing...this is going be very tight when slipping installed pads back onto rotor (drink a beer or else take a deep breath). IMPORTANT to check "X" position of cylander before cranking back down. You will want final crank position to exactly match how it was when you started. There is a little "NUB" on back of inner pad that MUST slip into groove just as it was when removed. That 1/8" make a huge difference"¦you can do this
Hope i never need this

I finally broke down and bought this tool as I am tired of renting it from the parts store. This isn't anything like the $150 parts store tool but will get the calipers compressed in a pinch. I hope I never use this tool because that would mean I never have to replace rear brakes again, wouldn't that be nice.
